PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We’re looking for a candidate like you to join our sales team. You will be responsible for building relationships with DMC & MICE decision makers in Spain and Spanish-speaking countries with the goal of implementing Travel Ray Software to run their business. We’re a fast growing start-up that is challenging and dynamic but also informal and friendly.

This position is remote, most days you can work from home.

You will be working in a team of experienced travel & IT professionals, who cater to travel companies worldwide.

REQUIREMENTS

·        5 years of experience working in a Travel Agency/DMC

·        Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other language is a bonus.

·         Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload

·         Demonstrate high levels of integrity, self-initiative and independence

·         Ability to identify and create business opportunities and progress these from qualification to close contracts

·         Great communication skills

·         Occasional travel is required

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an engaging, collaborative sales individual who has the skills, experience and track record to make an impact. You will receive sales process expertise and support to be highly organized in terms of building and maintaining your territory.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Work closely with management and sales team to develop a sales strategy, establish and reach sales goals

·         Target and build honest relationships and genuine rapport with potential customers

·         Help potential customers discover their needs and how we can deliver extraordinary value

·         Manage the end to end sales process through lead generation and discovery to contract negotiation

·         Successfully sell digital solutions and services via solution-selling or consultative-selling approach

·         Plan approaches, presentation materials and proposals that speak to the client’s needs and objectives, and effectively communicate solutions

·         Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure target achievement through a combination of face to face, phone, email and online meetings

·         Organize trade shows at industry events and networking, represent Travel Ray

·         Support and educate clients

·         Utilize CRM in order to improve the relationship with existing customers and find new prospective customers

·         Create reports to measure productivity

 

Additionally, we would like to know more about your travel software experience or knowledge. Please, give us your current insight into the market – specialized solutions being used, percentage of software market penetration, tolls like word and excel being used, barriers to implementation, etc.
